What will Women10 Living Fit Inside-Out look like?
Adapting to changing times will include changes to the schedule, location, and format in general. Location will be ‘no fixed address’, using outdoor facilities whenever possible and online communication. (Zoom for guest speakers and sometimes, exercise)
We will continue as an organization committed to each other and our community, that we continue to play, explore, adventure and connect, and empower with an open heart.
Where will we meet?
Speakers will be engaging via Zoom meetings, or at a designated outdoor location, when permitted.
Physical exercise will be outdoors, or via Zoom, selected exercise videos, with my guidance, should there be inclement weather.
Daily schedule, Monday to Thursday:
Speaker 9 or 10 am usually
10:30 am, meet-up for warm-up, stretch, strengthen and walk, weather permitting.
or
9 am, Speaker followed by exercise at 10:00 (virtual)
or
9 am, Excursion which may include exercise.
Coffee destination and discussion may follow.

Ways to register:
What will membership cost?
Membership is free (Fall, Winter, or Spring)
What equipment is required?
Your health, safety and the well-being of members, guests and speakers is top priority. Physical distancing, masks, team size no more than 10, and when required, hand sanitizing protocol is necessary to follow the guidelines of the Health Unit and our Provincial Government guidelines.
How will I communicate with members?
I’ll continue to keep you updated with information about programming on this website, www.livingfitinsideout.com. List of daily events will be home page of the website.
What changes can I expect?
Guest speakers will continue, with emphasis on women’s empowerment, challenges, contributions, and positive social connection. (Zoom, and other outdoor locations when appropriate)
Whenever possible, exercise will be outdoors. The location will be designated on the website, with a description of the event and equipment needed (if necessary). When weather is inclement, exercise will be online after guest speaker.
Who can join the exercise?
Unless advised by your health professionals, if you can walk with ease for an extended period (30 min) you can join the exercises. You can join in any of the warm-up and walking activities and gage your pace, by time and distance, even if you can’t walk a longer distance. A slower and steady pace and shorter distance may be required at the beginning. A good measure for walking distance is that you can walk without stopping for 30 minutes. (that would be approximately 2 km)
Each class will start with a short warm up, stretches, possibly strength training and chosen cardio activity, such as:
Biking
Walking
Hiking
Pole-walking
Warm-up/stretch/strength
Qi Gong
Snow-shoeing
Other
A meeting place for coffee may follow outdoor activities.
Wild Card Mystery Tour: You will be notified via email and website for this event, should it be feasible given COVID.
Book Club
With COVID-19 restrictions the Book Club is looking at ways to start meeting again, with outdoor meetings and/or limited attendance (10). This event will be organized by Jill Shields with assistance.
